Pinaak Films is a young production company dedicated to creating original films that push the boundaries of storytelling. With a focus on unique narratives, we aim to craft stories that are both culturally rich and deeply personal, drawing inspiration from diverse perspectives and experiences. Our films celebrate the complexity of human emotions and the beauty of untold stories that often go unnoticed in mainstream media.
Founded by a passionate and creative filmmaker duo, writer-director Aaradhya Dev Shandilya, and editor-producer, Urvashi Saxena, Pinaak Films is committed to develop and produce films that offer a sense of originality and personal touch that makes each story special and unforgettable.
AARADHYA DEV SHANDILYA is a film school graduate, gold medalist in Cinematography and has gained experience on the sets of various short films, music videos and feature films including Amazon Prime Original, ‘Ammu’. He has also honed his craft as a screenwriter, collaborating with acclaimed director, Sujoy Ghosh while simultaneously developing a diverse portfolio of original stories and scripts.
URVASHI SAXENA is an award winning editor whose career has been driven by her passion and enthusiasm for filmmaking. She graduated from her film-school at the top of her class and immediately went on to work on notable projects like ‘A Suitable Boy’ and ’Gulmohar’ . Her work on short films such as ‘Batshit Crazy’ and ‘Giallo’ has earned recognition at many festivals worldwide. Her most recent works include, ‘Lust Stories 2’ and ‘Jaane Jaan’ for Netflix.
